Our Mission Is:
· To provide services to immigrant and refugee women and their children who have survived domestic violence.
· To support the breaking of the cycle of domestic violence through education and empowerment.
· To increase awareness of domestic violence in immigrant and refugee communities.
· To serve as a resource for mainstream shelters which provide services to culturally-diverse populations who are victims of domestic violence.
International Women's House serves primarily immigrant and refugee women and their children who have survived domestic violence. The shelter does not discriminate in its acceptance policies.
